For the past couple of months Prescott School Distrcit has partnered with a member of the community to honor and celebrate the successes of students who are working hard to better themselves, are successful or who are making an effort to change habits and become more accomplished. At last night’s monthly school board meeting, Barry Marks, along with Superintendent Robert Poole, PHS principal Tommy Poole and PJHS principal Jay Turley, recognized Dwantesha Ross and Zackariah Armstrong for their successes. Dwantesha has become a more positive thinker and is making good grades and wise choices. Zachariah is a hard working student who was the only 8th grader to score a 4 on his math Atlas interim. We are very proud of both of these young men. Mr. Marks presented them both with a $100.00 to show his respect and encourage them to continue doing what they are doing.
