Farm Bureau Women's Committee joins Hope Farmer's Market
The Farm Bureau Women’s Committee joined the Hope Farmers’ Market this morning to host the Hospitality Table and provide sweet treats and refreshments to market patrons. Chairperson Mindy Lockhart said she and fellow committee members were excited to be at the market today. “We are so glad to be here to support our local farmers and vendors,” Lockhart said. “We enjoy getting out into the community for any opportunity that allows us to give back; plus, we get to share with others what our organization has to offer.”  Also in attendance at the market today were Joshua Tree with their homemade wooden crafts and Keep it Simple with their soup, dip, and pie mixes. Arnold Farms, Hannah’s Berries, Kyle’s Kitchen, Silvey Farms, Solomon Farms, Field’s Farm, and Reynold’s Farm were all on the scene with various fresh produce, baked goods, and homemade wares. Plus, Papa’s Honey had his honey and pollen products and Farm on the Hill had fresh beef and fresh flower bouquets.  Hope Farmers’ Market takes place every Tuesday morning at the Hub in downtown Hope from 7am to 11am. All guests get to sign up for free entry into a prize drawing that consists of various goodies donated by the market vendors.
