Farmers Bank & Trust spreads Christmas cheer with Community Coffee
Even though numerous merry-making holiday events are filling up calendars for the Yuletide season, local citizens didn't want to miss the Christmas Community Coffee hosted by Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) this morning, and this crew did not disappoint.

A substantial crowd gathered to join in the festivities at FB&T's main branch in Hope this morning, and the Christmas spirit appeared to multiply with holiday greetings and happy smiles. The spread alone, catered by Sheba's, particularly stood out with fried shrimp, ham, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, and so much more.

FB&T Market President Jacob Jones said the food and atmosphere were just a small part of the gratitude that the staff hoped to convey to participants. "We are always looking for ways to be involved in the community, and Christmas is such a special time of year," Jones said. "We want all of our customers, as well as our community partners, to know how much we appreciate each and every one of them, especially during the holidays."

Janet Choate, Senior VP and Commerical Loan Officer at FB&T, seconded that sentiment by saying, "We're family here, and we consider the community a part of our family, too. What better way to celebrate the holidays than to invite everyone in for food and fun."

That family fellowship was in abundance this morning as the FB&T lobby filled to the brim with joyful tidings and Christmas cheer.
