Featherston Commits to UA -Rich Mountain

Wesley Featherston, a soon to be graduate of Spring Hill High School has committed to the University of Arkansas -Rich Mountain to play baseball for the 2020 fall semester.

Featherston began playing baseball at the young age of five and has continued playing for both his high school and tournament teams throughout the duration of his high school career. He is a utility player, excellent at playing anywhere on the field the coaches need him but his favorite position is third base.

"When I was a junior, Coach Lance Spigner, he's a great coach, reached out to me and said he was going to create a baseball team at UA- Rich Mountain in Mena and he offered for me to come play for him. That is where I've always wanted to go and so I signed," Featherston said about the opportunity to play at the university that is known for creating MLB players.

Since his high school season was cut short due to COVID-19, Featherston is ready to get back to playing his favorite sport and is definitely excited about this new journey and where it will take him in the future.
