The Spring Hill School District recently held its first annual Spring Hill Lady Bears' Basketball Camp. A total of 57 girls attended the camp to learn from Coach Austin Kidd and members of the senior high Lady Bears. The younger girls were split into different stations and taught various drills and skills while senior girls provided instruction at each station. Coach Kidd praised all the girls in attendance and said the camp was a huge success. Kidd said, “We had a lot of fun. I got to know many of the elementary girls and learn about them. That's really what coaching is all about, building those relationships and seeing their strengths and weaknesses. My senior girls did a wonderful job mentoring these younger girls.
