Four Hope Soccer Players Named All-State
Hope- The 2024 soccer season came to an end last week at the State Tournament for both the Lady Cats and Bobcats. This past season was a good one for the Soccer program, as they were well represented in the All-State and All-Conference teams.

Congratulations to Brency Cabriales and Miracle Martinez of the Lady Cats on being named to the All-State Teams. Congratulations to Aniell Felipe and Sergio Brand on being named to the All-State Teams. Brency and Sergio were great on the defensive side of the ball this season for Hope, as they were stand-outs all season. Miracle Martinez scored 7 goals on the season and dished out 10 assists for the Lady Cats. Aniell Felipe missed half of conference play with an injury and still managed to score 16 goals and had 5 assists. All four of these players had a great season and the All-State nod was well deserved. Felipe will return next season for his senior year, as he will look to be a repeat on the All-State team next season.

The following Lady Cats made All-Conference: Miracle Martinez, Brency Cabriales, Brianna Maclaughlin, Madelyne Maclaughlin, Audrey Mercado, and Cristal Aguilar. All-Conference Honorable Mentions went to Jacqueline Reyna and Angelica Soto.

The following Bobcats made All-Conference: Aniell Felipe, Sergio Brand, Johnathan Hernandez, Sal Sanchez, Alex Brand, and Nathan Sanchez. All-Conference Honorable Mentions went to Josh Ramos and Gio Ruiz.

Brency Cabriales and Alex Brand were named to the All-State Tournament Team this past week as well for their spectacular play in the State Tournament.

Also congratulations to Coach Edmundo Dominguez on being selected to coach the girls team at the All-Star Game in Conway this Summer.
