Fulton Fun Fest enlivens Saturday afternoon at city's park
The Fulton Fun Fest took place Saturday starting at noon as a couple dozen people gathered at the Fulton City Park for a sunny day of free hot dogs, soft drinks and sno-cones.

Both the incumbent Mayor Henry Hale and candidate Tiffany Tolliver were on hand. They will take each other on in the November 5th mayoral election. You could register to vote under a red awning.

Commemorative t-shirts were available that had a design on the front including a high resolution photo of an important building in the town’s history that was not only the general store but also contained a movie theater.

Children were trying out a bounce house and using the playground’s equipment as all enjoyed the hot dogs, cold drinks and the R and B music being played.

Sponsors included SWEPCO, who gave $2,000, Red River Wrecker Service, Suny’s Food Mart, Hope Livestock Auction and Fulton Grass.
