Brayden Cobb torched the nets for 17 points, including four 3-pointers on Thursday, Cobb also added 3 assists and 4 steals, as he played great on both ends of the floor. Braxton Robertson added 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Brody Helms had 9 points, 3 assists, 2 boards, and 3 steals. Peyton Hicks had a big night defensively for Genoa Central, as he had a team-high 6 blocks and also 3 steals. Hicks also added 6 points and 5 rebounds. Jaxon Muhl had 7 points, Nathaniel Thomas added 5 points, and Michael Harper added 2 points.
There were a lot of steals and blocks for the Dragons defense, as Genoa did a great job of turning defense into offense Thursday night. Genoa Central is back in action on Friday night as they head to Queen City for a game with the Bulldogs.
