Important info for Hempstead County 4–H participants exhibiting at the county fair:

• The deadline for project animal ownership is July 1. This will be verified by the ag agent.

• The deadline to register livestock for the fair is July 15.

• Online fair registration is live! Go to: hempstead.fairwire.com to register. You will pay your fee(s) at check-in.

• If you have a kid who plans to show and they are not yet enrolled in 4-H, go to 4h.uada.edu and complete the enrollment process. All exhibitors must either be 4-H or FFA members to show at the county fair.
