The contest was hosted by Southwest Arkansas Educational Cooperative Gifted and Talented Specialist Chad Morris.
The newly crowned Miss Hempstead County Fair Queen Libby Flowers said the most difficult part of the pageant for her was defining complex, abstract words like integrity on the spot in front of a live audience. She said she is excited about competing in the next pageant at the Arkansas State Fair.
After the pageant, Junior Miss Hempstead County Fair Queen AnnaBell Roush called involvement in the pageant rewarding and said her favorite part about the evening was “seeing all the younger girls in their little dresses.”
