HOPE – Hope High School students Riley Ennis and Trinity Martin recently took awards in the Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics high school math competition held at HHS.
Ennis, a student of Ian Canalas, placed second in Geometry and Martin, a student of Jocelyn Balagot, won third in Algebra I.
The March competition was sponsored through Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia with 239 students from five schools competing in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus and PreCalculus/Trigonometry categories.
Participating schools included Hope High School, Magnolia High School, El Dorado High School, Smackover High School, and Arkansas High School (Texarkana).
