FAYETTEVILLE - To replace Tuesday’s basketball game scheduled against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in Tulsa but indefinitely postponed because of positive covid-19 tests within the Tulsa team, the Arkansas Razorbacks at 7 p.m. Wednesday will host the Southern University Jaguars at Walton Arena.
Also, the Razorbacks announced Monday their game Saturday at Walton Arena against the University of Central Arkansas Bears will tip off at 7 p.m. instead of the originally scheduled 5 p.m..
Saturday’s later UA vs. UCA tip-off time accommodates fans attending Arkansas’ 11 a.m. Saturday SEC West football game against the nationally No. 1 SEC West champion Alabama Crimson Tide at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Since Wednesday night’s Arkansas vs. Southern game was not part of any 2020-21 season ticket packages, single-game tickets will be available to the general public. Prices include $15 for seats in the lower bowl and $10 for seats in the upper bowl. UA students were to receive an email tonight (Monday – Dec. 7) with information on how to claim a ticket for the Southern game.
Southern University, 0-2 of the SWAC (Southwest Athletic Conference) was to play
No. 1 Gonzaga University Thursday night but Gonzaga had to postpone the game because of positive covid-19 tests.
