At their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday night, the City of Hope Board of Directors considered a request from Rusty Wheels to add a new part to their display at Fair Park, a request from Byrewood Clinic to connect to the city sewer system, to consider bids for the batting cages at the ball field, buy a new commercial sanitation truck, and consider the ARPA subgrant award to Hope Water & Light.
Unfortunately, other business caused some members of the board to be unable to attend the meeting. The board did agree to allow Rusty Wheels to move forward with adding their new part, as well as allowing Byrewood to connect to the city sewer, and to accept the lower bid for the commercial sanitation truck. The discussion of the bids for batting cages was tabled, pending a request for more information.
However, since Mayor Don Still felt there was not enough representation with some members of the board being absent, and the remaining members being in agreement, the discussion of the ARPA subgrant for Hope Water & Light was tabled until the board's next meeting.
