The Hope Lions Club hosted this weeks community coffee with several in attendance despite the cold, rainy morning. Guests enjoyed a delicious array of food, punch and, of course, coffee, while taking a break from the day to day to visit with others in the community.
Hope Evening Lions member, Richard Wade, spoke on behalf of the Noon and Evening Lions Club, "We love Hope and it's our goal to serve our community and make it a better place," Wade said. He encouraged anyone that isn't already part of a civic organization in Hope, to come to one of their meetings and sign up to become a Lion.
The Evening Lions meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month and the Noon Lions Club meets every Monday at noon. Both meetings are held in the Amigo Juan Meeting room.
