The City of Hope Parks & Recreation Summer Kids Program is hosting fun activities for local youth every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to noon, providing a variety of entertaining activities for the children in attendance. Today's activity of making tie-dyed shirts and pillowcases was a big hit in a long line of kid-centric summer fun, ranging from sports, educational activities, arts and crafts, and much more. Most of the children in attendance today shared with the SWARK reporter that the weekly swimming is also a favorite.
With summer only halfway over, there is still plenty of fun on the horizon so stay tuned to SWARK.Today for more. (There is a very special event in two weeks and SWARK.Today will be there!) To learn more about this program, call the park office at 870-777-7500.
