After the ribbon was officially cut, Hope City Board Director, Mark Ross said a few words, “I want to welcome everyone on this ‘cold’ morning. On behalf of the City of Hope and our board, we want to welcome Hope Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine along with Physical Therapist, Wade Batchelor and his staff to the City of Hope. Anytime we have a new business come into town, we are blessed,” Ross said.
Owner/Physical Therapist, Wade Batchelor spoke to the crowd, “Thanks for coming by today. We have been in business since 2004, and we are thankful that the good Lord has allowed us to serve for this amount of time. For seven or eight years, I have always wanted to have a location in Hope. I have a lot of family here. Hope is actually a last frontier, thinking of the population here and the services in this town, but it really has room for a lot more. We just want to add on to the services that are already here to make it the best we can for this community,” Batchelor said.
He went on to talk about his staff and how blessed he is to have their loyal professional support. “On our team, no one is above another. I have some of the greatest therapists that there could ever be, and they teach me every day. They are one of the biggest reasons I can live my dream and be a part of Hope. I have driven through this town so many times throughout the years looking for the perfect location, and I am thankful that we are finally here and open for business.”
Executive Director of The Hope Hempstead County C hamber of Commerce Christy Burns said, “We are always thankful when a someone invests in Hope, and we are excited to have Hope Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine a part of our ever growing community.”
