Hope Public Schools Issues Statement Regarding COVID-19 in Arkansas

HOPE – Hope Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Bobby Hart issued a statement today regarding the Hope Public Schools’ response to the presence of COVID-19 in Arkansas.

“At this time the Hope Public Schools is open. We know schools in four counties, Grant, Pulaski, Saline, and Jefferson, are the only schools in Arkansas to be affected at this time. Our district has not been given any information regarding any student or staff that have been potentially affected by the virus. We are in contact with the Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Department of Health. Currently these entities make the decision to close schools in this situation. We will announce any new information as it is received by the district.”
