On April 27, 2021 at approximately 4:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Arcelia Cazarez, 39, of Hope, AR and charged her with public intoxication in public and possession of controlled substance methamphetamine. The arrest occurred in the 1600 block of North Hervey Street in Hope, AR. Cazarez was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On April 28, 2021 at approximately 7:38pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Carlesha Liggon, 29, of Hope, AR and charged her with residential burglary and aggravated assault. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Caney Creek Circle in Hope, AR. Liggon was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

9:11pm in the 800 block of N. Hervey
Derrick Manuel II, 24, of Hope, AR
Mr. Manuel was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated drugs, endangering the welfare of a minor in the 2nd degree, and driving on suspended drivers license.
1:30am in the 1600 block of N. Hervey
Askary Chavez, 46, of Mear, MI
Mr. Chavez was arrested and charged with domestic battery in the 3rd degree.

Lacory Thomas, 42, of Columbus, AR
Mr. Thomas was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving on suspended driving license for DWI, expired vehicle tags, no insurance, driving left of center, and failure to obey stop sign.
11:40pm in the 900 block of S. Fulton
James Ivey, 27, of Hope, AR
Mr. Ivey was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident property damage, driving while intoxicated, and failure to use turn signal.
