HPD MEDIA RELEASE

On December 11, 2021 at approximately 2:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Breunna Hamilton, 23, of Hope, AR and charged her with theft of property by employee embezzlement. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of Mack Street in Hope, AR. Hamilton was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On December 17, 2021 at approximately 10:06pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Derrick Washington, 40, of Hope, AR and charged him with possession of controlled substance ecstasy and possession of controlled substance marijuana. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of East Greenwood Street in Hope, AR. Washington was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance. 

On December 18, 2021 at approximately 5:27am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Samuel Gilmer, 19, of Hope, AR and charged him with no insurance, fleeing in a vehicle, driving while intoxicated, careless and prohibited driving, carrying a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of North Hervey Street in Hope, AR. Gilmer was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Mr. Peevy was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Clifton Pool, 22, of Hope, AR
Mr. Pool was arrested and charged with assault on family or household member in the 3rd degree.

12:57am in the 400 block of E. 14th Street
Daryl Christopher, 18, of Hope, AR
Mr. Christopher was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, careless and prohibited driving, and possession of alcohol by minor.
