All Information Provided By The Hope Police Department

ARRESTS:

On May 17, 2021 at approximately 10:10pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Kaden Pugh, 21, of Ashdown, AR and charged him with terroristic threatening in the 1st degree. The arrest occurred in the 500 block of East 11th St. in Hope, AR. Pugh was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On May 17, 2021 at approximately 2:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Melinda Jones, 49, of Hope, AR and charged her with theft of property, obstructing government operations, and served a foreign warrant service. The arrest occurred in the 1700 block of East 3rd St. in Hope, AR. Jones was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance

On May 22, 2021 at approximately 11:53am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Bernard McCarthur, 50, of Hope, AR and charged him with possession of controlled substance prescription drugs, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and possession of firearms by certain persons.  The arrest occurred in the 600 block of South Elm St. in Hope, AR. McCarthur was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

9:16pm in the 1800 block of E. Rocky Mound Rd.
Amy Cowling, 45, of Emmet, AR
Ms. Cowling was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, and driving left of center.

10:04pm in the 1600 block of Peck Circle
Gregorio Porter, 39, of Memphis, TN
Mr. Porter was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

10:10pm in the 500 block of E. 11th
Kaden Pugh, 21, of Ashdown, AR
Mr. Pugh was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening in the 1st degree.

Jordan Cobb, 27, of Hope, AR
Mr. Cobb was arrested and charged with fleeing in a vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident property damage.

A male juvenile from Hope, AR
The juvenile was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Stanley Wingfield, 37, of Hope, AR
Mr. Wingfield was arrested and charged with assault on family/household member in the 3rd degree.
