All Information Provided By The Hope Police Department

On May 6, 2021 at approximately 12:25am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Joevon Nelson, 19, of Hope, AR and charged him with residential burglary and criminal mischief in the 1st degree.  The arrest occurred in the 600 block of West 3rd Street in Hope, AR. Nelson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On May 7, 2021 at approximately 7:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Deondra Armstrong, 33, of Hope, AR and charged her with theft of property and fraudulent use of credit or debit card.  The arrest occurred in the 300 block of Washington St. in Hope, AR. Armstrong was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Jimmy Cooper Jr., 35, of Hope, AR
Mr. Cooper was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

11:24pm in the 300 block of N. Louisiana
Paradise Talley, 24, of Hope, AR
Ms. Talley was arrested and charged with battery in the 3rd degree, and harassment.

Mr. Nelson was arrested and charged with residential burglary and criminal mischief in the 1st degree.

Ms. Armstrong was arrested and charged with theft of property and fraudulent use of credit or debit card.

2:35am in the 1400 block of N. Spruce
Cortavious Rhodes, 20, of Hope, AR
Mr. Rhodes was arrested and charged with public intoxication and served a failure to comply warrant.
