Media Release

On May 18th, 2023, at approximately 10:13am, Officers with the Hope Police Department and  the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office arrested Danielle Newer of Hope, AR. Ms. Newer was  arrested and charged with Breaking/Entering (two counts), Theft of Property (three counts),  Theft by Receiving and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrest occurred in the 2200 block  of East 23rd Street. Ms. Newer was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held  for a first appearance.

Mr. Garner was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery 3rd

Mr. Dendy was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery 3rd

Mr. Ramos was arrested and charged with Carrying a Weapon and Criminal Trespass

Mr. Johnson was arrested and charged with Driving while Intoxicated and Reckless Driving
