On Monday, April 29th,2024, at approximately 7:00pm, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Jose Maldonado, 56 of Hope, AR. Mr. Maldonado was arrested in the 700  block of East 3rd Street and charged with Filing a False Police Report. Mr. Maldonado was held  at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance. 

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at 10:21am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested  Adrian Brown, 18 of Hope, AR. Mr. Brown was arrested in the 2200 block of Bill Clinton Drive and charged with Theft of Property (Felony). Mr. Brown was transported to the Hempstead  County Detention Facility where he was held pending a first court appearance.
