Press release, Hope Police Department

On June 7th, 2023, at approximately 10:11pm, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Daryl Christopher, 20, of Hope, AR. Mr. Christopher was arrested in the 500 block of East Division Street and charged with Terroristic Act, Aggravated Assault, Fleeing, Driving while Intoxicated and Driving while License Suspended. Mr. Christopher was taken the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.

On June 11th, 2023, at approximately 12:30pm, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Rebecca Martin, 41, of Hope, AR. Ms. Martin was arrested in the 2400 block of North Hervey Street for an incident that occurred in the 1700 block of East 3rd Street and charged with Theft of Property and Fraudulent use of a Credit Card. Ms. Martin was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first court appearance.
