Lady Bears Top Dierks 9-4
Spring Hill- The Lady Bears put up a 4-spot in the 2nd inning and followed that up with a 3-run third inning to take control of the game and Emma Rhodes pitched a great game as Spring Hill cruised to a 9-4 victory over the Lady Outlaws. Emma struck out six batters and allowed just 2 ER, as she earned the win on Monday. Rhodes also helped her cause at the plate as she had 3-hits and an RBI. Zoey Varner had another great night at the plate, as she ripped an inside-the-park HR and a triple and drove in 3 runs to pace the Lady Bears offense. Livi Tyree smacked a triple and a double at the plate as she continues her hot streak at the plate. Carly Foster had 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Lady Bears, and Ava McBrayer, Baili Butler, Mazie Calhoun, and Alyssa Porter each had hits for Spring Hill. McBrayer had 2 RBI and Calhoun added an RBI as well. The Lady Bears offense banged out a total of 13 hits in the win. Spring Hill stands at 1-1 in conference play and is back in action on Tuesday as they host Fouke. Their next conference game is on Friday as they host Horatio.
