Lady Cats Beat Mineral Springs 10-0, Grace Trauger Tosses 6 No-Hit Innings
Hope-The Lady Cats started off their season on the right note with a 10-0 win over Mineral Springs. Grace Trauger was magnificent on Monday night as she tossed six innings of no-hit softball with 9 strike outs.  The defense played great behind Grace and catcher Yoshigei Gonzalez threw out two runners attempting to steal third base. 

At the plate for the Hope, Yoshigei led the way, going 4-4 and scoring 2 runs as well as driving in the final run of the game to cap off the 10-0 run-rule victory. Freshman Ava Brown scored 3 runs for the Lady Cats. Zoey Lockeby was the pitcher for Mineral Springs as she struck out five Lady Cat batters.

Hope improves to 1-0 on the season and will host Prescott on Friday night at Lady Cat Field.
