Lady Saints Drop Tough Road Game to Gospel Light
Hot Springs- The Lady Saints basketball squad hit the road on Thursday and headed to Hot Springs to take on Gospel Light. In a very tough, hard fought game GMCS came up just short, as they lost 65-57. Laikyn Mitchell and Mikayla Fields went off on Thursday, as they both had 24 points. Mitchell had 11 rebounds and 7 assists, as Fields had 10 rebounds and 9 assists. They had a great two-man game working. Charity Zumwalt had a good game as well, as she filled up the stat sheet with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Gospel Light will be a team they see later on in the year. 

In Jr. Boys action, the Saints topped Gospel Light 41-24. Hooks Brown led the team in points with 15, he also added 8 boards. Brandy Edwards had 10 points and 5 assists. Ben Martin had 10 rebounds and 2 points, and Jason Stockton had a great all-around game with 5 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.
