Gracy Martin scorched the nets with 26 points to lead all scorers with a very impressive offensive performance, Gracy also had four assists and played great defense. Laikyn Mitchell posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, Laikyn also had five assists. Mikayla Fields had 11 points, 9 rebounds, and five assists as she was a vital part of the offense. 

The Lady Saints defense was great all game long, only allowing 31 points. All of the Lady Saints contributed in some way to the season-opening victory. 

GMCS will host Blevins for Homecoming on Friday. 

The Junior Saints were also impressive especially on defense, allowing just five points in their 38-5 win. Preslee Peck had 15 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Laila Santifer was a monster in the paint as she had 11 points and grabbed 18 boards.
