The Lady Bears shot 44% from the field Tuesday, and made some big time shots late in the game, including two back-to-back 3's from Tyree in the fourth quarter. Lafayette did a good job of getting offensive rebounds, as they had the size advantage, but late in the game Tyree, Ava McBrayer, and Kenzie Thompson all had big rebounds for Spring Hill. McBrayer was very impressive late in the game, as she fought through a lot of pain and stayed in to finish the game out. Great defense to finish the game out for the Bears.
Kenzie Thompson led the way scoring for the Lady Bears with 17 points. Thompson also added 7 rebounds. Ava McBrayer had 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Livi Tyree had 12 points, 8 of which came in the 4th quarter, and also added a team-high 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Layla Cantwell had 6 points and a team-high 6 assists, Anna Flowers scored 3 points, and Andrea Zacarias scored 2 points and had 3 assists.
In the Jr. Girls game, the Lady Bears had a big 2nd half as they won their game 37-27. Knightley Porter poured in a game high 15 points. Madi Vickers scored 8 points, LK Tuttle had 6 points, Jorgia Coffee had 4 points, and Ella Flowers and Lilly Cox each scored 2 points.
