Lady Saints Put Up 16 Hits as They Knock Off Emerson 14-13

Hope- The Lady Saints offense showed up early and came up big down the stretch, as they out-slug and outscore the Lady Pirates 14-13 to earn the win. Evan Chambless was a nightmare for Emerson pitching, as she smacked 3 doubles and a single, and drove in 3 runs. Baylee Pogue and Blayklee Glass each had 2 hits and 2 RBI at the plate for GMCS. Mikayla Fields had 2 hits and 1 RBI, and Raylee Adkison had 2 hits and scored twice. Kynlee Glass, Charity Zumwalt, Brailyn Almand, and Silbi Jones each had a hit for Garrett Memorial as well. Silbi struck out 6 batters and earned the win from the pitchers circle on Tuesday.

The Lady Saints will be back in action next Tuesday as they host Columbia Christian.
