Lady Wolves Compete in the DMAC Tournament
Hope- It was a busy two days of softball in the 14th annual Debra McMaster Tournament this past weekend in Hope for the Lady Wolves. Prescott would go 1-3 on the weekend as they beat the Lady Cats in comeback fashion on Friday night, as a roaming deer made its way to the field and seemed to spark a rally from the Lady Wolves. Prescott also dropped tough games to Poyen, Arkansas High, and Dierks. Below will be the stats from each game:

Prescott 7           Hope 3

The Curley Wolves were trailing late in the game, as Hope jumped out to an early lead. Prescott chipped away and had the game tied, and here came the rally deer, prancing around the outfield. Moments after her appearance, the baserunners and hits started to pile up, and before you know it the Lady Wolves had a 7-3 lead and that's how the game would end. Lainey Robbins pitched a good game on Friday night as she struck out three batters and walked zero hitters, earning the win. Three Lady Wolves had multi-hit games as Harlee Faulkner had a double, single, and drove in two runs. Kadence Formby and Jodee Mckinnon each had 2 singles and 1 RBI. Grayson Jackson, Carlee Glass, and Mary Munoz each had an RBI single, while Lainey Robbins roped a single.

Prescott 1          Poyen 7

In a tough game on Saturday, the Lady Wolves fell behind early and could not mount a comeback as they dropped the game 7-1. Lainey Robbins was the pitcher and she struck out two Poyen hitters. Harlee Faulkner had another two-hit game with two singles, as did Kadence Formby, who drove in a run on two singles. Kyla Joseph added a hit for Prescott as well.

Prescott 2        Arkansas High 17

Friday afternoon, the Lady Wolves had a game with a very good team in Arkansas High, as they lost to the Lady Backs 17-2. Grayson Jackson and Lainey Robbins both pitched in the game for the Lady Wolves. Kyla Joseph hit an RBI double and Kaygen Klutts had a single.

Prescott 5        Dierks 8

Prescott squared off against the Lady Outlaws on Saturday afternoon for their last game of the weekend. In a game in which both teams seemed to be seeing the ball well and scoring runs, the Lady Outlaws would end up with an 8-5 win over Prescott. Lainey Robbins struck out three hitters from the circle, and Lainey also added a double at the plate. Kadence Formby and Harlee Faulkner would each continue their hot hitting as they both had two hits for Prescott. Kadence had a double, single, and two RBI. Harlee added two singles and an RBI. Mary Munoz smacked a double and Kyla Joseph added a single.

The Lady Wolves are back in action on March 25 as they host to Nevada.
