Local Students Compete in SWAEC Hackathon
Local students from schools in the area came together to compete in the SWAEC Hackathon. This competition took place in the Co-op on the UAHT Campus and began at about 9:30 in the morning.

This was the 2nd annual Hackathon held by the SWAEC. The Hackathon is an event where students interested in computer science and technology can come together and put their skills to the test and giving them a look into what the computer science world will be like. Focusing on cyber security, hacking prevention, and other positive computer skills.

The hackathon had stations with different challenges setup for example; Virtual Reality, an escape room, stations for lock picking, minute to win it, alarm assembly teaching them how to create alarms, robot competitions, decoding competitions, and lazy coding. UALR had a cuber security work out gym showing kids how to be good white hat hackers. Photos from the event are posted below.
