 Former Razorbacks NCAA Track and Field Championships  men’s hurdler Omar McLeod and former Razorbacks women’s NCAA champion pole vaulter Sandi Morris are among 26 Olympic medalists competing in the Weltkasse Zurich Inspirations Games, a  July 9 seven venues on two continents event with still under formulation plans for international television.

McLeod, winning 110-meter hurdles Olympic gold for Jamaica in 2016, won the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Indoor  60-meters hurdles  Coach Chris Bucknam’s Razorbacks men while coached by sprints coach Doug Case.  After pulling a hamstring in the 2014 NCAA Outdoor semifinal scratching him for the final,  McLeod won the 2015 NCAA Outdoor 110-meter hurdles in his last race for the Razorbacks  before turning professional.

Also a sprinter including running a leg on Arkansas’ 2015 NCAA Outdoor champion 4 x 100 relays,  McLeod will compete in the 100-meter dash for the Inspiration Games.

Morris, the 2016 Olympic silver pole vault medalist for the U.S. and winning the U.S.  one World Championships gold medal and three World Championships silver medals, won two NCAA Outdoor pole vault championships  and one NCAA Indoor  championship after transferring from the University of North Carolina to Coach Lance Harter’s Razorbacks.

Arkansas women’s vault coach Bryan Compton continues coaching Morris.
