Elections procedures for the NAACP 6012B HOPE-HEMPSTEAD COUNTY BRANCH are underway. Current NAACP 6012B members (as of May 1, 2022) can take a step into leadership and run for the Executive Board--President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
Candidate Petitions can be picked up October 17-21 at 109 So. Walnut, 10a-11:30p or 4:30p-5:30p. Candidates must obtain the signatures of three NAACP 6012B members in good standing. Petitions must be returned by Friday, October 21, 5:30 p.m. at 109 So. Walnut.
The Executive Board Elections are scheduled for Monday, November 28. More details to follow.
To join the NAACP Adult Membership dues are $30. Youth Membership dues (20 years and under) are $15.00.
