Parents, faculty and students came together to enjoy an array of snacks, fruits & veggies, dips & crackers, pinwheels, sliders, meat & cheese trays, bacon wrapped sausages, and of course cookies, brownies and punch for those with a sweet tooth.
Superintendent Roy McCoy said a few words to the court. “Good morning, we want to thank all of our guests for being here this morning to recognize our homecoming court. Ladies, congratulations for making the homecoming court. This is gonna be an exciting homecoming. The event is a little earlier this year than usual, and we're all looking forward to having you represent the school. We hope that you enjoy what you're doing because hey, this is your year. Parents, thank you so much, we appreciate you. We're here. Uh for uh anything y'all need, please don't hesitate to ask. Congratulations and y'all enjoy this wonderful spread that that they've made for you,” Superintendent McCoy said.
Attendees had the opportunity to visit with the beautiful homecoming court and talk about the excitement leading up to NHS HOCO.
Homecoming for Nevada High School is December 6 at 5 pm in the High School gym.
