Nevada Tops Spring Hill on Thursday Night
Nevada- The Lady Jays (4-1) played host to the Lady Bears (0-2) on Thursday night. It is the inaugural season for Spring Hill in Volleyball, as they started the program up this year. The Lady Jays would win the match in straight sets 25-11, 25-6, 25-20 as Nevada has now won 4 consecutive games to improve to 4-1 on the season. Zette Brown led the way at the service line for Nevada as she racked up a team-high 9 aces and had 4 kills. Brown has been playing very well thus far this season. Jillian Pinner had herself another great game on Thursday as she had 2 kills and 5 aces, as she continues to impress. Alisha Gulley had 3 kills at the net and 1 ace. CJ McCallie had 7 aces for the Lady Jays, while Karleigh Carlton, Bella English, and Adrianna Russell each had 2 aces.

The Lady Bears are getting better every game as they are a very new team to the game of volleyball, but look for this team to get it going quickly and this program will start getting much better and better as they have a lot of skilled athletes in their program.

Nevada is in action this Saturday at the Garrett Memorial Tournament and Spring Hill is back in action next week as they travel to Trinity Christian on Tuesday.
