Prescott Jr. Team Tops Hope Jr. Team 48-30

Prescott Jr. Team Hope Jr. Team Curley Wolves Football Bobcat Football

Prescott- Prescott Jr. Team played host the Hope Jr. Team Thursday night. The Curley Wolves would best the Bobcats by a score of 48-30. Prescott started off firing on all cylinders as they headed into the half up 28-14. Prescott would extend that lead in the 2nd half and not look back. Prescott RB Mario Brownlee had a heck of a game with 173 yards and 3 TDs, he also added a 2-pt conversion. Caden Gleason had 97 yards on the ground and a TD, while Keemon Benton added 38 yards and a TD, Benton also played great in the secondary with an INT and a pass break-up.

Hope QB Austin Courtney threw for 135 yards and 2 TDs with an INT, also ran for 45 yards and a TD. Tra Gomer had 81 yards rushing and a TD, Gomer would also lead the Bobcats in tackles with 9. Kelson White caught a 55-yard TD, and Bradley Brown hauled in a TD as well with 40 yards receiving. Austin Courtney would also intercept a ball on defense.

Prescott Jr. Team plays host to Episcopal Collegiate Thursday and Hope Jr. Team travels to Magnolia Thursday night.
