Rotary, Tri-Service Contribute to Hamilton Haven
PRESCOTT — Hamilton Haven, a Prescott nonprofit which provides emergency housing to temporarily displaced families and individuals, recently received donations from local service organizations.

The Prescott Rotary Club presented $500 to Hamilton Haven.

“We are always looking to work with organizations that exemplify the Rotary motto of ‘Service Above Self’ — we feel that’s what Hamilton Haven brings to our community,” said Rotary Club president Patricia Roberts. “We’re happy to help.”

Roberts invited Hamilton Haven assistant executive director Christy Higginbotham to address a recent Rotary Club gathering.

“It was an honor to speak to Rotary about our mission,” said Higginbotham. “We appreciate what they do, and we look forward to collaborating with them in the future.”

The Tri-Service Club donated $300 to Hamilton Haven.

“Tri-Service is proud to help our community,” Tri-Service Club present Brenda Barham said. “We are here to serve.”

Hamilton Haven executive director Michele Hamilton Rhodes expressed appreciation to both clubs.

“It’s a blessing to receive this investment from Rotary and Tri-Service,” Rhodes said. “It’s another example of everyone working together for a common goal of improving lives.”
