Governor Asa Hutchinson will join officials of the Arkansas State Police and Arkansas Department of Transportation to announce today a new mobile phone connection being activated for motorists traveling Arkansas highways who may need to contact the state police.

The announcement will be made at 1:30 PM in the Governor’s Conference Room immediately following the governor’s COVID update and will be part of the regular livestream broadcast.

A news release will be electronically distributed by the Arkansas State Police simultaneous to the news conference.
