The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission Announces Christmas Food Giveaway to Support Needy Families
The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, a division of the Arkansas Department of Education, is thrilled to announce its annual Christmas Food Giveaway event that will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 15 at the Commission’s office at 906 Broadway in Little Rock. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

“We believe in the spirit of giving, especially during the holiday season, and we are excited to bring smiles to the faces of those in our community who may be facing challenges,” DuShun Scarbrough, the commission’s executive director, said. “This initiative aligns with our commitment to making a positive impact in the community, and we invite everyone to participate and contribute to the joyous atmosphere.”

The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission extends its gratitude to Tyson, Entergy, the Hunger Relief Army, Power 92 Jams, the Praise Network, and KOKY 102.1 for their generous support in making the Christmas Food Giveaway possible.

The community, volunteers, and sponsors are invited to participate in the event. For more information about how to get involved, please visit the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission or contact Director Scarbrough at 888-290-KING.
