The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Leadership Hope-Hempstead County 2024.

Leadership Hope-Hempstead County is now recruiting its 2nd class.  LHHC is an innovative community program led by the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, designed to identify and motivate emerging leaders and to develop their potential for community leadership roles.

This 8-month course, including graduation, kicks off in February 2024.  The sessions will cover an array of topics at a variety of locations led by community partners and professionals.  Individuals who have a genuine interest in community leadership and who desire to increase their own levels of involvement in community leadership roles are encouraged to apply.  Please note:  A leadership applicant must be a member of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce or an employee of a chamber member.

Chamber Executive Director Christy Burns stated, “As a graduate of the inaugural Leadership Hope-Hempstead County class, I thoroughly enjoyed the program and value the relationships I gained.  I have lived in Hope and Hempstead County all my life and this program took my knowledge of my community to a whole new level.”  “We are excited to be able to offer Leadership Hope-Hempstead County to the community again and hope to grow it bigger and better each year.” Burns added.

Applications are available via email or at the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, 201 S Main St., Hope.  Please email Christy Burns, [email protected] for more information.
