Sweet and savory snacks were laid out across a table charcuterie style. Pepperoni florets, dips, crackers, raspberries, blackberries, grapes, tomatoes, baby bells, carrots, and olives made for a colorful display of appetizing morsels. For a sweet bite, chocolate covered pretzels were in the mix with pumpkin crumble cake, lemon pie, fall themed cookies and tiny cheesecakes scattered on tiered stands throughout the spread.
Coffee with all the fancy fixings, OJ along with lemon infused water was served for those that needed to quench their thirst.
Citizens milled about, visiting about current events and the remodel as they enjoyed the delicious refreshments.
Administrator Stephanie Driskill welcomed everyone to the coffee and thanked them for taking the time to come out, “We decided to have another community coffee today since it has been about a year since our last one. We're in the middle of a remodel, currently painting our facility, doing some new updates, and we just wanted everyone to see what we're working on,” Driskill said.
Executive Director of the Prescott Nevada Chamber of Commerce, Jamie Hillery said, "I am always proud of our businesses here in Prescott and Nevada County. Every person contributes to the success of our community. Today’s coffee shows the support that this town is known for. I appreciate The Springs Hillcrest and all they do for our residents.”
