HOPE/TEXARKANA, AR – July 8, 2026
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Adult Education program is offering a free Paraprofessional Training Course designed to help prepare individuals for rewarding careers supporting students in local schools.
The program provides participants with valuable training and hands-on learning opportunities, including job shadowing experience, hybrid course delivery, and the opportunity to earn Paraprofessional Certification. New cohorts will begin every six weeks.
The first cohort begins Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
This opportunity is open to residents of Lafayette, Hempstead, Nevada, and Miller counties.
