A Veterans Parade will course through Hope Friday at 6:00 p.m.  Then Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Old Courthouse on South Washington, a Veterans Day Observance is planned, with a fish fry lunch provided afterward by the Hope Lions Club.

The parade will start on South Elm near the intersection with Sixth Street, proceed north on Elm to downtown, take an easterly turn at Division Street, then proceed to Walnut Street and turn south.

The observance will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in front of the Old Courthouse on Washington Street. Afterward, for veterans and their spouses the Hope Lions will provide a free fish fry meal. Meals will be available to purchase for family members and other guests.
