The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be selling chili and Frito pies on Saturday, December 9 as part of the 37th Annual Christmas and Candlelight in Washington, Arkansas. Chili will be served starting at 3pm at the Washington Fire Station located at 112 Franklin Street. All funds raised will go to help the Washington Volunteer Fire Department in helping purchase fire safety equipment and supplies to help protect the community of Washington, Historic Washington State Park, and the surrounding area of Hempstead County. Come out and attend the 37th Annual Christmas and Candlelight and support a local Hempstead County fire department.
