FAYETTEVILLE - As of college basketball’s start today of the spring national signing period, two graduate transfers and three incoming freshman have verbally committed to join Coach Eric Musselman’s Razorbacks. Verbal commitments don’t become binding until the letter of intent is signed.

After submitting their names in the transfer portal, Northern Kentucky University 6-6 shooting guard/small forward Jalen Tate and 6-9 University of New Mexico forward Vance Jackson verbally committed to sign with Arkansas as graduate transfers with the 2020-2021 season of eligibility remaining.

Committed as incoming freshmen to sign this spring are 6-foot point guard Khalen “KK” Robinson of Bryant finishing his prep career at Oak Hill (Va.) Academy; 6-10 forward Jaylin Williams of Fort Smith Northside and 6-5 shooting guard/small forward Moses Moody of Little Rock Parkview finishing at Monteverde (Fla.) Academy.

Robinson is the only one saying publicly he will sign today.

During last November’s early signing period, 6-4 point guard Devontae Davis of Jacksonville became the first of Musselman’s 2020-2021 class to sign with Arkansas.

Actively joining the Razorbacks for intercollegiate play after practicing with the Razorbacks in 2019-2020 as redshirting undergraduate transfers are 7-3 sophomore center Connor Vanover of Little Rock via the University of California, 6-1 junior guard JD Notae transferring from the University of Jacksonville (Fla.) and  6-8 junior forward Abayomi Iyiola transferred from Stetson University.

Off the Razorbacks 2019-2020 roster Arkansas loses 4-year senior forward Adrio Bailey, graduate transfer guard Jimmy Whitt and graduate transfer forward Jeantal Cylla.

Senior-to-be 2-year letterman point guard, Jalen Harris, put his name in the graduate transfer portal. Harris had lettered as a University of New Mexico freshman then transferred to Arkansas, redshirting in 2017-2018 and then starting every game for former Arkansas Coach Mike Anderson’s Razorbacks in 2018-2019 and lettering in 2019-2020 for Musselman mostly as the sixth man first guard off the bench.

Senior to-be guard Mason Jones’ Razorbacks status is in limbo. SEC Co-Player of the Year, Jones, has submitted his name to the June 25 NBA draft but has not hired an agent and has until June 3 to decide to turn professional or return to the Razorbacks.
