FAYETTEVILLE - Xavier Kelly, the defensive tackle departing the national runner-up Clemson Tigers as a graduate transfer, on Twitter posted that he’s committed to join Coach Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks for the 2020 season.
“I will be finishing out my career at the University of Arkansas,” Kelly tweeted.
Kelly, 6-4, 305, visited Arkansas the Jan. 31-Feb. 2 knowing the Razorbacks graduated 2019 starting defensive tackles McTelvin Agim and T.J. Smith.
A native of Wichita, Kan., Kelly lettered as a Clemson reserve tackle from 2017-2019 after redshirting in 2016.
Kelly is on track to complete his Clemson degree this spring and report to the UA in the summer before the August preseason practices.
