YMS Fitness Winners

Teachers and staff at Yerger Middle School participated in the YMS Fitness Challenge from Feb. 24 through March 8, using the Stridekick digital application to track steps taken during each day. YMS Nurse Marcia Widel said the top stepper and winner of a $25 Amazon gift card was Earlene Gulley with 179,226 steps. Band director Vincent Flieder stepped in second with 160,156 steps to win a personal blender; and Edmundo Dominguez was not far behind with 160,065 steps to win a drink cup. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
