This evening at 6:00 p.m. the parade to honor area veterans proceeded through Hope's downtown as a light drizzle fell. We stood at Elm and Second Street to capture images from the procession.

On Monday, November 11th, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Old Courthouse lawn, a Veterans Day observance will occur.  The Hope Lions Club will serve a free fish fry lunch to veterans and their spouses. Others wishing to enjoy a lunch can buy a lunch for a nominal price.
