Scrapperettes Beat PG 13-12 in 9 Innings
Texarkana- The Scrapperettes hit the road on Wednesday night for Pleasant Grove, for a big road test in some less than likable weather. This game would take 9 innings to decide a winner, but the resilience this Nashville bunch has already shown this season, prevailed once again, as they pushed across a run in the top of the 9th, and then recorded their 3 outs in the bottom half of the inning to escape PG with a 13-12 win.

Nashville banged out 8 hits and drew 12 walks as a team, just striking out 4 times, making the Lady Hawks work for every out.

Kinley Martin continues her hot start to the season with a 3-hit game, including a triple. Martin also drew a walk, had an RBI and scored twice. Elli Wallis had a double and a pair of RBIs. Baylee Smith had 2 RBI. Landyn Tompkins and Brayley Lowery each had a hit and an RBI, and both Ava Brown and Rayleigh Harmon each had a single for the Scrapperettes.

Nashville is back on the diamond this Saturday at home in the Futrell Marine Showdown.
